Hey Friends!
Blue Plate Mayonnaise, 2 slices of bread, and a tomato…summer is officially here! I trust that everything is going well with you and your summer is full of many blessings. We are well into our annual summer dates. So far the weather has been nice. Frankly, after the cold winter that we had, I’m loving this “warm” weather!
Our hearts have been broken concerning the Bowling’s bus accident. It has really hit our industry hard. They are part of our family and we are so thankful that God has already answered many prayers on their behalf. I feel that after they’ve all recovered, their ministry will be more powerful than ever. We love them and pray that God will continue to help them through this difficult time.
Thanks to all of you for calling in and requesting “Why Should I Worry”. We are getting such great results from the song. So many people are hurting and are going through difficult times. Jesus says in Matthew 6:34 – “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” (NKJ)
Be sure to make plans to be with us at our Homecoming on July 23/24. We have Jeff & Sheri Easter on Friday night. They have agreed to stay over on Saturday since the Bowling’s will not be able to come. CS&K and the New River Band will also be there on Saturday. Come on out with your lawn chairs and a hearty appetite. We will have lots of good home-cooked southern food!
We pray that all of you will continue to be encouraged in the Lord. Please continue to pray for us. It is truly an honor to sing for the Lord!
Love & prayers, Karen Peck Gooch
