 A Beautiful Day In Georgia

He Friends,
It’s a beautiful day in Georgia! We are so ready for this beautiful weather. It’s been a busy week trying to catch up on office work and battling bronchitis. (Since I turned the BIG number, I’ve starting falling apart. LOL!)
We are thoroughly enjoying being on the Gaither Homecoming Tour this year. We are able to go to places we’ve never been before and meet new friends. Everyone has been so nice and gracious to us. People are always asking us what it’s like being on the tour and I can honestly say it’s a nice place to be.
Last Sunday, KPNR was at a church’s 7th year anniversary celebration in Mississippi. While we were singing “Four Days Late”, people began to cry and started filling the altar. We sang “Four Days Late” so many times that I lost count. The Lord showed up in a mighty, powerful way. Once again, He reminded me of who He is and who I’m not. Only by the grace of God can we do what we do! I left the church feeling so refreshed and revived. It is an honor to serve the Lord!
I found out today, that our radio single, “Why Should I Worry”, is doing very well in radio. The song was written by a pastor from Alabama, Rick Simpson. We are so thankful that the song is touching hearts everywhere. We are very grateful to our precious DJs for playing our music. We are very passionate about this particular song. In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus tells us specifically, “do not worry”. Almost on a daily basis I have to remind myself of that scripture.
We will be performing Friday night at the Mountain Arts Center in Prestonsburg, KY (6:30pm). Since it’s Good Friday, a communion service will take place at the beginning of the concert. After the concert we’re headed home for the rest of the weekend. I’m really looking forward to hanging out with my family on Saturday and going to church on Sunday!
