Hey Friends,
We are leaving today for the Singing at Sea Cruise! After being in such cold weather the past couple of weeks we could not wait to get to the warmth in Jacksonville, Fl, …only to discover it’s cold here “IN” Jacksonville, FL. We can’t get away from this cold weather! I really don’t mean to complain but I’m looking forward to springtime!
Thanks for all of your nice comments about Jeff Hawes. (Our new singer.) He is a very anointed, talented young man. He definitely has a bright future.
Okay ya’ll, I’m having a mother moment... During the cruise my son, Matthew, will be staying with Jeff on the ship instead of Rickey and me. I know it’s exciting for Matthew, but it’s really hard watching him grow up and become an independent young man.
Susan is very excited to have her husband, David, and her son, Joseph, with her on the cruise.
Our kids always love being on this cruise to be with the other “road” kids. Most of the groups that we grew up with in the industry are on this cruise as well. We all love to sit around the deck and tell our road stories! LoL!
As always, we want to say a very special thanks to all the DJs for playing our song “Why Can’t All God’s Children Get Along”. It’s getting a great response with the audiences. We need to always let our light shine for the Lord. It seems like this is an unusually busy year for us. (We are very grateful.)
Please continue to pray for us and all the other artists on the ship this week. Please pray for good health and safety for all of us this week. It seems like every year the cruises just get better and better and the Lord shows up every single time the artists perform and the preachers preach. It is literally a revival on water! I will give you an update next week when we get home.
Have a wonderful week. Stay well and warm!
Love and prayers, Karen
